Aircraft of the Month
A polished light jet for transcontinental days that begin before sunrise and end with a glass of wine on a terrace.
§ 01 — The Fleet
A register kept short on purpose — every airframe earns its hangar slot.
A 1968 V-tail in restored Sienna leather. The honest workhorse.
Six seats, intercontinental hops, oat-milk espresso onboard.
Tandem biplane. For when "scenic" doesn't quite cover it.
Eight seats, pressurised, bound for the islands.
Lake landings, Adirondack escapes, a thermos of cocoa.
Single engine, transcontinental. Lounge in the back.
§ 02 — Destinations Atlas
From metropolitan hubs to grass strips you'll find on no commercial schedule.
§ 03 — By the Numbers
What began as a single restored Cessna in a Hudson Valley hangar has become a quiet operation trusted by the privately curious — architects, photographers, families, festival directors.
§ 04 — How It Works
A short conversation, an itinerary, a confirmation. The rest is altitude.
A line by email, a call, a postcard if you must. Origin, destination, when you'd like to be in the air.
Range, weather, runway, mood. We match you to the right machine in the register.
A printed itinerary delivered, a captain's note, two paper boarding passes — never an app.
No queues. The hangar door opens. Engine start at exactly the moment requested.
"We have flown commercial since. We have not enjoyed it since. Aerion ruins you, in the very best way."
Aside — Cabin Notes
A small ritual we run before every departure. We share it because it tells you everything you need to know about how an Aerion flight actually feels.
§ 05 — The Journal
Dispatches from the hangar — pilots, instruments, weather, the occasional reverie.
On flying low, slow, and home before the coffee shop opens.
Why slower can be better, and other heresies from a jet age.
Three days, a Pilatus, and a hotel made entirely of glass.
§ 06 — Questions
No. We do not run a membership programme, a jet card, or any tiered scheme. You request a flight and we fly you.
Anywhere our aircraft can refuel. The Pilatus and the Citation routinely cross oceans; the Bonanza prefers the Northeast and the Carolinas. We will tell you honestly which aircraft is right.
Hourly block rate × estimated flight hours, plus landing fees and any overnight crew expenses. No surge pricing, no phantom charges, and you will see every line.
Some of them, yes. The Bonanza and the Pitts are available with our chief instructor for type-specific instruction once you hold the appropriate ratings.
§ 07 — Reach Us
Dispatch is staffed by humans, between 06:00 and 22:00 Eastern, 365 days a year. We answer in less than an hour, usually in less than ten minutes.
